4.PAN: Fill 10 Digit PAN Number in case of Limited Liability Partnership / Co-operative / Private Limited / Public Limited. 5.Mobile No : Fill the correct Mobile Number of Applicant.”आवेदक का सही मोबाइल नंबर यहां लिखें।

6.Mail ID : Fill the correct Mail ID of Applicant. “यहां अपनी सही ईमेल आईडी का उल्लेख करें।”

7.Social Category: Select the Social Category of applicant from the given options.”आवेदक की सामाजिक श्रेणी का चयन करें।”

About Udyog Aadhaar Registration

The main motive of the government in introducing Udyog Aadhaar is not to make the process of registration of a company under micro, small or medium enterprises very simple and easy for business owners.

The introduction of Udyam Registration has brought uniformity to the system of MSME. Now, everyone followed the same set of processes and rules for registration of the Business.  

In the old system, the process differed from place; some used to follow the national portal for registration, some used to follow the state portal, while others did it manually. 

Along with the simplification of the process, the government has also introduced various benefits for the companies registering under the micro, small, and medium enterprises category via Udyog Aadhaar. The former system was called entrepreneur memorandum.

Why Udyam Registration Replace Udyog Aadhaar Registration?

The initial process was very hectic and also time-consuming, where a lot of paperwork was required. Basically, it was an old-school bureaucratic way of management. This introduction of Udyog Aadhar has brought changes in the process of simplifying it for micro, small, and medium enterprises.

Although the government now uses the updated Udyam Registration system, the ‘Udyam Aadhaar’ is still widely searched because it was known for being extremely simple. Quick and business-friendly, its purpose was clear: help small enterprises get recognised so they grow with government support.

After completing the process, the government issued a unique Udyam Registration Number (URN) earlier Known as Udyog Aadhaar Memorandum (UAM) Number. This number acted like an identity card for the business and made it easier to apply for MSME benefits and various government schemes.
